Chef Mike is a long time resident of Burlington and supports many charitable causes including the Children's Aid Foundation of Halton. He believes every child and youth should have the same opportunities to thrive and contribute to the community. A graduate of Wilfred Laurier University, and Box Hill Institute (Melbourne, Australia) Mike understands the value of education and the positive impact it has on the course of a person's life. Mike loves to cycle and has ridden over 5,000 kms in his basement gym since March 2019. Now he wants to turn his good health to a great cause, embarking on an epic VIRTUAL ride from Burlington to Ottawa (approximately 500 km), scheduled to end on April 27, his 56th birthday.
